I've been enjoying my crochet projects lately. I searched online for patterns. OMG! There are millions of free patterns! Granted lots of them are not for me...there is NO WAY you can get me in a bikini, so crocheting one probably wouldn't be a good thing.
These were made from a free pattern that was on the label of Sugar 'N Cream yarn. I thought I'd give it a try. It was fun and easy. I added crocheted flowers.
Originally, I started making one as a gift. I started one bag with the yarn I had on hand. I got about 1/2 done and remembered a comment that this friend had made about not liking the color I was using. So, I got a different color and started another one. I hope she likes it.
Enjoy your day!

I LOVE THESE BAGS!!! You did a marvelous job! Can you send me the link for the directions? (Are the flowers with it or did you make those up?) I am getting tired of making afghans, and I KNOW a bikini is also out of the question. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this bag!!! What flower did you use for the turquoise bag (with purple flower), I think it goes perfectly with the bag.
ReplyDeleteHello! Thank you for taking the time to leave a nice comment! I had to think about what that purple flower pattern was as I'd made this bag a few years ago. I looked through my crochet flower books and I believe it is the "Loopy" flower out of the book "Crochet Bouquet" by Suzann Thompson.
DeleteThank you so much for your response, I'll check that book out. You're really done a wonderful job with these bags.
