MOJO #184 and Make it Monday #8

Happy Monday!
Today I combined two challenges. Mojo Monday sketch and Paper Trey Ink's Make it Monday challenge. The PTI challenge is to do a project that "... must use at least one Papertrey product of some kind and ink applied to your project using a tool other than a stamp."
For my card, on the cardstock behind the dog image, the circle/heart cutout and the banner, I inked the white cardstock using applicator felt. I used 4 different colors of ink:ColorBox-Moss Green, VersaColor-Cardinal and Petal Pink, Delta-Fushia.
The PTI product I used was the stamp set A Little Argyle.
The dog image was recycled from a card that was sent to me.
As I sat trying to type this post, the smoke alarms in the house went off. My daughter was in the kitchen making a snack for her and her brother to take on their bike ride. She burnt a quesadilla. I opened up the windows to get the smoke out. The alarms are finally silent. I, however, am afraid to venture back into the kitchen to see the mess. Guess what I'll be doing as soon as I'm done.

MFT-Weekly Sketch Challenge

Here is my card....
based on the sketch below.
With all the rain we've been having and FINALLY having sunshine today, I am in the mood for a bright Easter card!

Supplies:
Stamp image: My Favorite Things-Warm Fuzzies
Patterned paper: DCWV
Punches: McGill-file tab, EK Success-Retro Flower

Apple-A-Go-Go

How do you like this apple?
Ok, it's not an apple but, it works.
I don't crochet much. I am a beginner.
I remember my Grandma teaching me to crochet when I was a child. I made a scarf for my Barbie Doll.
Many, many moons later I got the bug to try crocheting again. I bought one of those teach yourself to crochet kits. I actually made a few flowers and a baby blanket for a friend.
My crocheting stash sat untouched for a few years. Ok, my kids got into it several times and scattered things around. So, maybe untouched isn't the correct term.
The pattern is from this fun book Lunch Bags! There are all kinds of patterns for...yep, lunch bags! They are sewing patterns. This is the only crochet pattern.
So, the other night I got the urge to crochet the Apple-A-Go-Go. 'Cuz who knows...that apple (or in my case orange) might get cold!
When I showed Matt he said, "What on earth would possess you to create that?" My response, "Because, I can." Guess what he's getting for his birthday. (insert evil laugh)
I sat down last night and made this two color apple sweater. (That is soo funny to me...apple sweater!) Anyway, it is my first time using two different colors on a project. YEAH!
We have sunshine again today! Yippee!!
Have a great day!

Hambo Hoedown #8

Hello!
Welcome!
As you can tell, I'm very new to having my own blog.  So, let's just pretend that my pictures look fab. and one is not sideways.  Tilt your head....ahhhh, see.
Alrighty then, this week's Hambo Hoedown was based on a sketch.  I made one card...but I just wasn't quite happy with it.  So, I made another card.    The image is "Coffee Girl" it is a digital stamp from Hambo Stamps.
When I received this stamp, it made me laugh.  I relate to this stamp a little too well.  I might have an issue with coffee.  That is why I had to include so many coffee cups, because one is just not enough.
I guess that's all for now.   I hope you have a wonderful day!
